A whole abdomen ultrasound costs Rs. 1,500 at KDRC. Neck, chest, breast and scrotal ultrasounds are Rs. 1,700 each, and a 3D transvaginal scan is Rs. 2,000. These rates are for Nepali citizens during regular service hours.
The 5D anomaly scan for a single pregnancy is Rs. 4,000, currently discounted to Rs. 3,500. The NT scan is Rs. 2,000, a growth scan Rs. 1,500, a fetal biophysical profile Rs. 2,500 and an obstetric Doppler Rs. 2,500.
Renal, carotid and AV fistula Doppler studies cost Rs. 3,000 each, as does a Doppler of one arm or leg (arterial or venous). A penile Doppler is Rs. 5,000 and an obstetric Doppler Rs. 2,500.
